Revolution is one of Burnham Hydronics' most efficient gas-fired boilers.
With an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency of 88%, Revolution exceeds the
requirements for ENERGY STAR® certification. ENERGY STAR is a program
developed by the EPA and the Department of Energy to give homeowners the
information they need to reduce energy use. Revolution gas-fired boilers are

A Distinctive Design in Gas-Fired Boilers

Revolution’s distinctive configuration allows exceptionally efficient heat transfer.
Flue gases pass through the heat exchanger the first time in the traditional way.
Then, as they rise above the heat exchanger, they’re pulled across a secondary
surface for a more complete heat transfer.

This secondary heating surface is fitted with unique diamond-shaped heat transfer
pins that extract the maximum amount of heat. Only the Burnham Revolution Series
from Unique has this feature.

Gas-Fired Boilers that are Easy to Install

Burnham designed the Revolution to accommodate virtually any home heating system.
Besides the flexibility of horizontal or vertical venting and the option to use either indoor
(induced draft) or outdoor (direct vent) air for combustion, all piping and venting
connections are made conveniently at the top of the boiler.

Revolution is pre-piped, with a primary/secondary loop for easy hookup into a low
temperature system. With the addition of a few simple controls, the Revolution
gas-fired boiler is ideal for radiant heating installations.

Revolution is constructed with a cast iron heat exchanger for years of reliable
performance. Cast iron has the unique ability to absorb and transfer heat quickly
and efficiently, while providing unmatched durability. Burnham's cast iron sections
reduce fuel consumption and save you money.

Steel couplings called nipples permanently join the Revolution boilers cast iron
heat exchanger sections, expanding and contracting with the sections they join,
and ensuring the integrity of the entire assembly. Steel nipples are impervious to
petroleum-based chemicals, including antifreeze, which can deteriorate the
gaskets that used in place of nipples by competitors' boilers.
