Nothing like waking up to a heating system that is shuddering and shaking and making a noise that lets you know know something is wrong. As I enter the boiler room- it is apparent that one of my circulating pumps has seized and is threatening the whole heating system. I immediately call Unique Indoor Comfort- sort of the fairy god mother for heating systems for help.

These guys have come to my rescue more times that I can remember. Whether is is a service call or the installation of a new heating or cooling system, I rely on Unique Indoor Comfort.

First, from a service standpoint- their guys are always on time and can quickly diagnose the problem. My heating/cooling system is complicated; 6 heating zones of hot water radiator/radiant heat and space pac air conditioning units located up in the attic. Couple that with a house that is nearing 90 years old and you can bet that there are complications no matter how up to date the system is.

But to these guys- that seemingly presents no problems. They even helped me convert my old steam radiators to hot water heat a number of years ago and found me just the right boiler size when I explained the extensive renovations I was going to do.

Their prices are comparable and they provide an up front estimate over the phone before sending their technicians. There are three locations that service the entire Chicagoland area.
